TECHNOLOGY:

• V-CELL: V-Cell material is the highest level cellulose-based black 3D carbon material. It is the most technologically advanced carbon fiber graphite material used in racquet sports.  V-Cell material is stronger, longer-lasting, more consistent in production while also giving Volkl Tennis racquets more resiliency. To you, the player, that means you are getting a racquet which offers unmatched performance allowing you to play harder and longer.
• REVA:  REVA - Revolutionary EVA - is a Volkl Tennis innovation used in conjunction with the interchangeable pallet system. REVA replaces standard EVA material used on the handle below the pallet to dampen harmful vibration. REVA is more resilient while also giving better lateral and torsional stability to the handle.  For players, that means you get a racquet with incredible dampening with enhanced feel and better feedback through the handle. It also means racquets with REVA will be more stable on off-center hits without requiring a ‘death grip’ on the handle. Another way Volkl Tennis racquets allow players to train harder and play longer with less fatigue.
• V-TEX: V-TEX is a Volkl Tennis innovation for butt caps. The V-TEX butt cap is made of silicone polymer rather than hard plastic so it offers better resistance to cracking, shrinking or moving.  For you, the player, the V-TEX butt cap helps dampen harmful vibration which would normally make it to your hand. It also gives Volkl Tennis racquets better feel by reducing that feel of the racquet twisting in your hand due to the torque of
• an off-center hit.
• SUPER GROMMET: Super Grommet technology incorporates Speedgrommet, figure 8 grommet shape for more string movement in all directions and less grommet/string friction, with V-Sponse material. This combination of shape and material gives a larger sweet spot, better control and more energy return to the ball.  Most tennis racquet have the pivot point of their string beds at the inside of the grommet. Strings in Volkl Tennis racquets using Speedgrommet technology pivot closer to the outside of the frame because the grommets are shaped like a figure 8 funnel. This increases dwell time, the amount of time the ball spends in the string bed thereby enhancing spin and control. In addition, the string bed has more energy to release for more power without requiring a bigger swing.
• PRECISE POWER:  Precise Power beam shape uses a classic beam design combined with box beam construction in different areas of some Volkl Tennis racquet models.  By combining different beam designs in one frame Volkl Tennis engineers have come up with a way to give traditional Volkl feel while building a racquet with performance characteristics not normally associated with comfort. Precise Power beam designs can also give more power and/or more control than traditional racquet designs using only one beam concept.
• V-SENSOR: V-Sensor technology is soft vibration absorbing pin system inserted into the butt cap. The use of the V-Sensor pin is similar to the system used in many skyscrapers around the world to dampen shock from earthquakes. In the Volkl Tennis application, the V-Sensor pin results in up to 75% less bad vibration coming through the handle.  As players we are always looking for better feel in racquets. The trend toward stiffer string beds has also led to a bigger need for arm protection.
