Improve the control of your power game with the
Dunlop 2021 CX400 Tour Tennis Racquets. The fusion of power, control, and spin makes this racquet ideal for aggressive baseline players.
Ease into a new level of control. Play with a softer, more flexible racquet feel, thanks to FLEX BOOSTER. This high-elasticity, vibration-damping layer in the shaft area, filters out vibrations, giving players a less stiff, more flexible feeling. So you get the comfort to stay in control of every shot you hit.
Unleash game-winning shots at will. Sonic Core with Infinergy is placed in the 2 and 10 o’clock areas of the racquet. This super-elastic, super-light material, offers rebound properties significantly higher than other materials. Reduced vibrations mean reduced impact, meaning more comfort. Power never felt so good.
Hit every type of shot with refined control and comfort. A re-designed string bed that’s larger across the main and cross strings, gives you more even power distribution, particularly at the top of the racket. While great string movement generates more power and spin. Put total control in the palm of your hand.
With a 100 square inch head size, an open 16x19 string pattern, and a firm 11.1 ounce strung weight, the 2021 CX 400 Tour from Dunlop is tailored towards that modern player that is looking for a racquet that features ideal feel with an excellent stringbed response from a lighter weighted frame.
TECHNOLOGY:
- Sonic Core Technology: Starting with the 2019 CX Series and continuing through the 2020 SX & FX series and 2021 CX series Dunlop updates their Sonic Core Technology with a material called Infinergy. According to Dunlop, Infinergy is the world's first E-TPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethene). Developed by BASF, this super elastic material is placed at 10 & 2 o'clock. It is desgiend to increase the racquet's rebound properties, resulting in higher ball speed. It also enhances dampening for a more comfortable feel at impact.
- Power Grid Technology: Dunlop redesigns the stringbed to create more optimal power distribution. In the upper half of the stringbed (which is the common contact point for advanced players), the crosses have been widened to create more comfort, power and spin. In the middle of the stringbed, there are denser crosses to create more control. This technology also includes wider main strings, which increases power, spin and comfort.
- Flex Booster: For 2021, Dunlop adds FlexBooster technology, a thin rubber material in the shaft that absorbs harsh vibrations without compromising your connection to the ball.
