The NEW RQiS 1 Tour is the racquet of choice for ATP Tour professional Lleyton Hewitt. At just under 12 ounces and 9 points headlight, this racquet is best suited for players with long full strokes.

TECHNOLOGY:

CUP-STACK CARBON NANOTUBE: The new material Cup-Stack Carbon Nanotube is applied in the racquet frame which enables to give the players right amount of flex to stay with the ball, and quick repulsion to make the full energy available for power return.

ISOMETRIC: 10% bigger sweetspot than an ordinary round head racquet The ISOMETRIC square head shape reduces the inert space found in a conventional round frame. As a result, the racquet is easier to swing through and has superior manoeuvrability. The sweetspot is the area of a racquet where the longest main and longest cross strings meet in the stringbed. In an ordinary roundframe racquet, the sweetspot is where the 8 main and 11 cross strings meet. In the YONEX ISOMETRIC square head racquet, 10 main and 13 cross strings meet in the stringbed to produce a sweetspot that is 10% larger than the effective hitting area of a conventional round head racquet.

ELASTIC TI: Elastic Ti charges the shaft for power, velocity and better control. YONEX Nano-scale Elastic Ti is the only alloy providing racquet qualities once considered impossible - extremely low elasticity and extremely high strength together.
Elastic Ti is 44% less elastic and 8% stronger compared with the previous best Ti alloy.
The lower a shaft's elasticity, the more it flex it provides and the higher its strength, the more resiliency it delivers.

SOFT GROMMET: RDS Racquets feature soft grommets in the corners of the frame. These function to reduce the shock of off-centre hits which, in effect, widens the sweetspot further still.

OPS: OPS (Oval Pressed Shaft) technology builds into the throat, the right amount of flex for an extended dwell time for easier spin and directional control.
