DESCRIPTION:
The K-Swiss Defier DS is engineered to stand up to the most intense game. The TecTuff high-abrasion toe wrap creates a durable barrier between the court and the foot. The abrasion-resistant DragGuard is placed in the toe and the heel of the Aosta 7.0 rubber outsole. The Defier DS outsole features non-marking and a clay-friendly herringbone tread pattern for multi-surface traction.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Fit: Length fit is true to size. This shoe offers a narrower fit than we've traditionally found in K-Swiss shoes. Arch support is medium height.
Upper: DuraWrap provides an extra line of defense against excessive toe dragging by increasing durability in the toe box. Padded open mesh tongue provides maximum breathability. Midfoot supports integrated into the lacing system provide excellent lateral stability needed for quick side to side movements on the court. Synthetic leather with micro perforations is durable and allows for ventilation. Padded heel collar with Achilles notch for increased comfort. Stay-tied laces act as a "catch" to keep your laces tied.
Midsole: Shock Spring® technology provides superior cushioning in the heel and forefoot. SuperFoam is space age energy return foam that resists compression set and provides longer lasting cushioning and comfort. Removable molded EVA sockliner with perforations provides increased cushioning and breathability. Increased stability is achieved through the use of a lightweight TPU Active Cradle on the lateral forefoot to help prevent roll over and a TPU Active Cradle heel wrap to keep your foot centered.
Outsole: Aösta® 7.0 rubber outsole compound provides unsurpassed durability from heel to toe. DragGuard™ located in the high-wear areas of the toe and heel and offers increased abrasion-resistance. Outstanding traction comes from a tennis specific, multi-surface herringbone tread pattern.
